At Scheme Dreams, every pair of custom shoes is made by hand with care, creativity, and attention to detail. Because of the personalised nature of each design, we’ve put together this guide to help you understand how payment, pricing, and delivery works.

How Payments Work

All orders are processed via invoice to provide flexibility and peace of mind for both you and the artist. Once your quote is confirmed, you’ll receive a detailed invoice with everything laid out clearly, including:

• Item description and design summary

• Full cost breakdown

• Any optional extras

• Payment terms and due dates

 

We use this invoicing system to:

• Secure your order without relying on upfront payment platforms

• Allow instalment options, when needed

• Provide clear written confirmation for both parties

 

You won’t be asked to pay until you’ve agreed the final design and quote.

 

Pricing Information

Each pair of custom shoes is priced individually. The cost depends on several key factors:

• Shoe size: Larger sizes require more materials

• Design intricacy: Simple patterns take less time than complex art

• Additional materials: Glitter, gems, mixed media, or layered painting styles can add cost

• Brand or base shoes: If you're supplying your own shoes, that’s fine — otherwise, we include the price of the base shoes in your quote

 

We’ll always be upfront about pricing. Once you describe your idea (or send reference photos), we’ll reply with a custom quote tailored to your request.

 

Delivery & Turnaround Time

As each pair is made to order, delivery times can vary, but most orders are completed within 2 to 4 weeks. During busier periods or for more detailed designs, it may take slightly longer — you’ll always be given an estimated delivery date when your order is confirmed.

Delivery options:

• UK-wide shipping: Sent by tracked courier or Royal Mail

• Local collection: If you’re near Paisley or Renfrewshire, you can arrange collection

 

Shipping costs will be included in your invoice.

 

How to Place an Order

   • Describe your idea, preferred colours, theme, and shoe size

   • You can send images, inspirations, or just a vibe you like

2. We’ll respond with a quote and estimated timeframe

3. Once you confirm, we’ll send you an invoice with full payment details

4. Work begins once the first payment (or full payment) is received

All designs are original unless inspired by a reference you provide. Megan puts her heart into every pair, and your shoes are guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind. Respect for the time and work involved is deeply appreciated.
